What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of St Lewis’ Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an inspirational and outstanding teacher to join our dedicated teaching staff. The successful candidate must be highly committed, enthusiastic, and show great initiative with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice. In addition, they should be willing and able to make a positive contribution to the wider life of St Lewis’ Catholic Primary School.

We are looking for someone who can work with the senior leaders to demonstrate:

  • Full support of the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • An excellent ability to deliver a high quality curriculum and maintain and develop an exciting, stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • A passionate commitment to and experience of providing quality and inclusive education for all children.
  • High expectations of pupils’ achievement, behaviour and a commitment to raising standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
