What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a teacher with the skills and qualities to lead our lower KS2. This leadership role is to secure a high quality curriculum and effective teaching in Y3 and Y4, working in partnership with other leaders in the federation, so that we have good consistency across all year groups.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a class, so they must be an excellent classroom practitioner who can ensure high outcomes for our children and model best practice for others. Drive, enthusiasm and commitment are essential here in our caring schools where we are focused on meeting children's individual needs. Candidates must share our vision and determination to have a cohesive community within our diverse schools federation and have the ability to foster good relationships with all stakeholders, working closely with parents and carers. Candidates should have a good understanding of primary practice as well as all equality issues.

As well as leading lower KS2 the successful candidate will be expected to lead a curriculum subject across the school's federation. The headteacher will endeavour to provide 10% management time in addition to the 10% PPA entitlement.
