Lunch Club Assistant job summary
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly person to join our Lunch Club Team who has experience of working with young children. No qualifications necessary
Due to the current Lunch Club Assistants moving to other roles within the school and because of the increase in the number of children accessing the 30 hours funding we are now looking to recruit a new member of staff to support children during lunch time.
You do not need a qualification but the role requires you to have a genuine interest in working with young children. We are looking for someone who is able to support and encourage children’s conversations and to provide high quality care during lunch time. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nursery school and pre-school that has been judged outstanding by Ofsted.
You will work for 1 hour a day, 5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year. 11.30am to 12.30pm - Monday to Friday. There is also the opportunity to work additional hours as and when required as an Early Years Assistant in either the Nursery or Pre-school rooms. Combining these two roles may suit someone who is thinking of a career with children.
