Salary Scale - B3 - £12.45 per hour

Hours: 6.25 hours per week

Part time - temporary

Mondays to Fridays, term time only - 12.00-1.15pm

Start Date - 1st September 2025

The Federation of North Walsham Infant and Junior Schools is looking for two motivated and energetic people to join our friendly lunchtime supervisory team as lunchtime sports supervisors, working for 1.25 hours each day, Monday to Friday (term time only) over the lunchtime period.

The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator, confident when engaging with children, a team player and ready to take an active role, whatever the weather!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and lead a variety of playground games and activities

  • Encourage positive play and help children follow rules and take turns

  • Support and guide our Sports Captains to run additional games and activities

  • Be a positive role model, promoting teamwork, fair play and inclusion

  • Provide basic first aid support when needed (training can be provided)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with children

  • Organised and confident in leading activities with children

  • Committed to promoting physical activity and wellbeing

  • First aid trained – or willing to undertake training
