About this Role

This is a 10 hours per week position. The hours will be 12pm - 2pm, Monday - Friday, term time only. The working hours may need to be adjusted by the Principal and will be based on the school’s needs.

School lunchtimes are an important part of the school day and we are currently seeking to appoint enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors who are passionate about working with our learners and working in team as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for supervising learners in the dining room, playground and / or classroom. Responsibilities include supervising the learners during lunch, assisting with keeping the dining halls clean, encouraging and promoting good behaviours, being a positive role model for the learners and actively promoting good manners and consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising learners in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during lunchtime.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and ensuring learners follow the school rules.
• Supporting learners to interact and develop social skills.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming lunchtime environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a friendly, approachable and patient manner.
• Can work well as part of a team.
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed to the wellbeing of our learners.
• Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
