What skills and experience we're looking for

The University of Kent Academies Trust is looking for proactive and reliable Lunchtime Supervisors to join our enthusiastic team at Chatham Grammar. This is a casual role, with hours worked on a timesheet basis.

The role is based at Chatham Grammar, and the hours are 12:30 PM – 2:10 PM. We require availability every day Monday to Friday, with daily shifts to be confirmed upon discussion with individual candidates.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, calm, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for students. You will supervise students in dining areas, outdoor spaces, and corridors, while encouraging positive behaviour and issuing challenges when necessary. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will also act as a positive role model and promote a respectful school environment.

We are looking for someone who is confident, approachable, and able to engage effectively with students. The successful candidate will be punctual, dependable, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude. Experience in an educational setting or student supervision is desirable, but full training will be provided.
