Lunchtime Supervisor
7.5 Hours per week - Term Time Only - Permanent
(Working Pattern - Monday - Friday)

Start Date: ASAP

Cherry Oak is a day school for pupils aged 4 to 11 years who have special education needs and/or disabilities arising from cognition and learning difficulties including severe learning difficulties and speech, communication and language difficulties. We are part of a Federation with Victoria School and College which gives us many opportunities for collaborative work and sharing good practice.


The successful candidate will be assisting with feeding at lunchtime and playground supervision. The ideal candidate for these positions will have:

* a passion for supporting children;

* good communication skills;

* enthusiasm, commitment, reliability and a willingness to learn and work

* the ability to work using own initiative, and as part of a team

* the ability to support the varied, complex needs of our children and pupils

* the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with pupils and colleagues

* the ability to take ownership of tasks

* the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school


This role will ideally suit people who wish to work in a vibrant SEND environment.
