We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play an important part in creating a safe, positive and welcoming environment for our students.
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help ensure that students enjoy a safe and pleasant lunchtime experience. You will supervise students in the dining hall, around the school site and outdoor areas, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting students to make the most of their break times. You will also help maintain a clean and tidy environment both inside and out through light duties such as clearing tables and litter picking across the school grounds.
What the role involves in a nutshell:
- Supervising students in the dining hall, cafe, pod, corridors and outdoor areas during lunchtime.
- Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring students feel safe, supported and included.
- Encouraging respectful interactions and helping to maintain a calm and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Supporting students with queries and minor issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Monitoring student welfare and reporting any safeguarding or behaviour concerns.
- Helping to keep the school environment clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Working as part of a supportive team to ensure smooth and effective lunchtime supervision.
- Acting as a positive role model for our students at all times.
