Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

We are Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre.

The Governing Board of Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre would like to appoint an exceptional candidate to join our lunchtime supervisory team.

Our team of lunchtime supervisors support pupils during the lunchtime period and ensure their wellbeing and safety.

We will offer the successful candidate:

• induction to the role
• the opportunity to work as part of a committed, supportive and experienced team
• opportunities for training and development

The successful candidate will:

• demonstrate a dedication and commitment to meeting the needs of our pupils

• genuinely enjoy engaging with and playing games with young children

The role will involve working Monday to Friday, term time only, between 11.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Applicants for this public facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice in fluent spoken English.

Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre provides an innovative education to 3 to 7 years olds in the east of Luton, close to the Hertfordshire border. We are an oversubscribed and successful two form entry infant school admitting 60 children per year. We are extremely well-resourced and keep children at the centre of everything we do. Our pupils are extremely keen to learn and participate and we teach a rich and challenging curriculum that is constantly evolving.
