LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT
Salary: Band 1, SCP 3 £5,419 Actual Salary
Hours: 10 hours per week, 11.30am – 1.30pm (Term Time Only)
Temporary to cover Maternity Leave
Required to start ASAP
The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated lunchtime supervisor to ensure the care and well-being of pupils during the lunch time period.
Working Pattern:
11:30am-1.30pm (Monday-Friday)
Duties include:
The care and supervision of pupils during lunch time.
Encouraging high standards of behaviour
Attend to children in the dining hall, encouraging good table manners
Ensure the dining areas are left clean and tidy
Promote play on the school yard as well as the inclusion of all pupils
Attend training as required
Perform basic first aid
Work as part of an effective team
Follow school policies
Supervise children in classrooms during inclement weather
Previous experience is desirable as is a current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check.
