Main School Midday Supervisor/s job summary

Midday Supervisor (1x Position Available)

Grade:                         Scale 1 -Point 2 = £3474.12 per annum

Hours of duty:            7.5 hours per week, working 11:45 – 1:15pm Monday - Friday, term time only

Responsible to:           The Midday Coordinator and the Headteacher/ Assistant Headteacher

Purpose of the post

Assisting the midday TA team in securing the safety and welfare of pupils in the hall, during the lunch hour. Your main duties include:

• supporting and encouraging pupils to eat their lunch
• assisting younger pupils with food and cutlery
• ensuring behaviour and manners are of a high standard
• working with other adults to keep tables clean, ready for pupils to have their lunch
• you will also be part of the wider team and may be part of supervision and activities on the playground
