Main School Midday Supervisor/s job summary

Midday Supervisor (1x Position Available)

Grade:                         Scale 1 -Point 2 = £3474.12 per annum

Hours of
duty:            7.5 hours per week, working 11:45 – 1:15pm
Monday - Friday, term time only

Responsible
to:           The Midday Coordinator and the Headteacher/ Assistant Headteacher

This post is permanent.

Purpose of
the post

Assisting the midday TA team in securing the safety and welfare of pupils
in the hall, during the lunch hour. Your main duties include:

• supporting and encouraging
  pupils to eat their lunch


• assisting younger pupils
  with food and cutlery


• ensuring behaviour and
  manners are of a high standard


• working with other adults
  to keep tables clean, ready for pupils to have their lunch


• you will also be part of
  the wider team and may be part of supervision and activities on the
  playground
