Required from September 2026 - Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm (term-time only)

Salary for Level Two Teaching Assistant: £18,841 - £19,445 (Actual Salary per year) Meridian Trust, Grade 5 (Points 5-7)

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Hatton Park Primary School. You will work closely with teachers and our teaching assistant team to provide high quality educational provision. In the role you will be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and leading group interventions. You will be making a valuable difference supporting the teaching and learning at our school and will enjoy being part of a supportive team. An element of your duties will also include midday supervision. You will be responsible to the Headteacher.

The ideal candidate:

Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or Teaching Assistant qualification

Has some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One or Two

Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team

Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
