Marketing and Communications Manager job summary
We have a new position in our central team for a Trust Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and deliver impactful internal and external communications across our Trust. This is a critical role where you’ll work with schools to promote their identity, drive pupil admissions, and engage stakeholders through community action and digital innovation.
You’ll work closely with the Trust Executive Team, Headteachers, and key stakeholders to promote our schools’ unique identities while maintaining consistency with our overarching values and messaging.
You will play a key role in identifying and supporting grant and funding opportunities that align with the Trust’s strategic goals.
As our Marketing and Communications Manager, you will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative, Trust wide activities that raise our profile, increase pupil admissions, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing impactful marketing and communications strategies
Creating high quality promotional materials such as prospectuses, newsletters, and videos
Managing and enhancing websites and social media platforms
Supporting internal communications to inform and inspire staff across the Trust
Supporting grant and funding applications with compelling marketing content and case studies
Collaborating with schools to deliver targeted pupil recruitment campaigns
Staying ahead of marketing trends and exploring innovative tools, including AI
Who we’re looking for
Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, PR, journalism, or related field — or a willingness to work towards it (we’ll support you!)
Minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Proven experience in marketing or communications
Strong digital and social media skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Full UK driving licence
You may also have:
Graphic design or video production skills
Knowledge of local and regional education landscapes
