Marshwood CE Primary Academy - Teaching Assistant; Part time; term time only job summary

The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools, is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for Marshwood CE Primary Academy.

Founded in 1842, Marshwood CE Primary is one of Dorset's longest established Primary schools. The Head, teachers and teaching assistants work together as a strong team to provide the children with an excellent education. We offer a high-quality, engaging curriculum enhanced by a range of stimulating and enriching experiences.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning.; initially with Early Years and Key Stage One.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• To deliver targeted interventions
• To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being
• To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
• You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion

30 hours per week, term time only; applications for reduced part time hours also considered.

This role is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2025.
