DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class Teacher to join our team at Crawley Green Infant School for a year's maternity cover. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment, delivering comprehensive educational instruction, and supporting the academic and social development of students. This position requires a professional who is committed to maintaining high educational standards, managing classroom dynamics effectively, and collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administration to promote student success. The Class Teacher will be responsible for planning and executing lesson plans that align with the school curriculum, assessing student performance, and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Additionally, the successful applicant will demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for nurturing the potential of every student. Our school is dedicated to providing quality education and nurturing our pupils, and the Class Teacher will be instrumental in achieving this through exemplary instructional practices and a student-centred approach. Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other essential student information.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to enhance educational programs and address student needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on student performance and any concerns.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and policies.
- QTS
- Proven experience as a Class Teacher or in a similar educational role.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to assess student performance and provide tailored instructional support.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
For the right candidate there may be the option to take on the Year lead role with an additional TLR for the resposibility
