Working closely with the Head of Mathematics and a Maths team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality tutoring support to students across a range of abilities and year groups. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to raising attainment, closing learning gaps, and supporting students to reach their full potential using targeted support through a variety of methods, including small-group sessions, one-to-one tutoring and in-class support.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to build positive and professional relationships with students, staff, and parents. You will work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational and time-management skills, and contributing positively to the wider school.

What the role involves in a nutshell:

  • Deliver effective Mathematics intervention for identified students or groups of students.
  • Provide high quality learning through identification and delivery of specific knowledge, skills and understanding that will unlock barriers to progress and raise achievement.
  • Preparing individual learning plans, including measurable outcome criteria.
  • Following up and rearranging planned tuition sessions to ensure that the student engages in all sessions
