This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in achieving Maths Functional Skills and GCSE qualifications across our 16-18 study programmes. Based primarily at our Built Environment campus, with some delivery across the Sixth Form campus, you will provide both in-class and out-of-class support, helping students develop their confidence, skills and independence in Maths.
Working closely with the Maths team, you will deliver targeted one-to-one and small group interventions for students who require additional support, including those with SEND and other barriers to learning. You will work with individual learners and specific student groups to bridge gaps in knowledge, overcome challenges and enable them to fully engage with their studies.
You will also play an active role in supporting classroom delivery, providing occasional cover where required, and collaborating with vocational teams and Personal Progress Tutors to ensure students receive effective, joined-up support. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and student-focused individual who is passionate about helping learners achieve their potential and succeed in Maths.
