We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Maths Teacher to join a well-qualified and effective team of specialist teachers. The successful candidate should be able to teach Maths across the full age and ability range. This is a full-time permanent contract with a September2025 start This post would suit both an experienced colleague and a colleague who is new to the profession. Part-time will also be considered.

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1604 students, 318 of whom are in the successful sixth form. The learning environment is stunning with extensive and beautiful grounds; the school site is comprised of South Lytchett Manor House together with a number of modern extensions including the Arts block and theatre. We pride ourselves on our high standards and positive ethos, the school is popular and highly regarded in the community.
The Maths Department is welcoming and will ensure that the successful candidate receives appropriate induction, training and support. We pride ourselves on our strong induction systems which new colleagues always value highly. We also have well developed performance management systems, and a range of professional development opportunities are available such as leadership training and twilight inset sessions.

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1590 students. Set in a semi-rural location with an 18th Century family Manor House at its heart, Lytchett has one of the most beautiful and inspirational learning environments in the county with stunning extensive grounds and a number of modern extensions including the Arts block and theatre. The school is massively over-subscribed and highly regarded in the community. Parents know that Lytchett looks after its students, providing them with outstanding pastoral care and high-quality teaching. The school has a successful, thriving sixth form with over 340 students.
Lytchett has not joined a multi-academic trust, and has no intention of doing so, because it values its independence as a secondary school which serves its local community and produces outstanding outcomes for its students.
