Maths Tutor job summary
We are delighted to invite applicants to join our team to tutor small groups of our KS3/KS4 pupils in Maths.
The role requires working in small groups to ensure high-quality and impactful tuition. Tutoring will be delivered during the timetabled lesson.
The role:
- Work in small groups with pupils in personalised tutoring sessions, supporting individual pupils with their specific educational requirements, in order to enable them to achieve their academic goals.
- To provide high level of teaching in specialist subject for year groups 7 - 11
- Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- To liaise with classroom teachers and curriculum leaders to identify focus areas for intervention.
- To provide objective and accurate feedback to teachers
- To ensure strict confidentiality in all areas of work
- To understand and comply with the statutory guidance regarding safeguarding of children, always ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of children’s welfare, reporting any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Officer immediately.
