School Medical Welfare Assistant (with Reception Cover)
Start date: Immediate
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), 9am until 3.30pm with a thirty-minute break. 12 hours per week in total
Term-time only (38 weeks plus two INSET days)
Grade: H3 (Points 5-6)
Full-time salary: £25,496-£25,889
Paid salary reflecting actual hours/weeks: £6,975-£7,083pa
Our Medical Welfare Assistant works alongside our School Office and Reception Team to deliver First Aid and associated administrative tasks. The role might appeal to those from a nursing background, but this is by no means a requirement.
Our OFSTED grading has been confirmed as Outstanding (November 2023) and the inspection team have written that:
‘Staff say that they are very well supported. Staff feel valued. They have high praise for how leaders look after the staff’s well-being and their workload.’
