Mid-Day Supervisor job summary

We are looking for someone who is organised, calm under pressure and enjoys a busy work environment.

The successful candidate will be:

Supervise activities and maintain the health, safety, welfare, good conduct and safeguarding of pupils during the midday break, having regard to special or additional needs.

Assist in the supervision of other activities during the midday break, including setting out and storing equipment

Encourage pupils to eat healthy meals.

Supervising play and engaging with children in their play.

Clean up spillages of food or liquid during meal service

Wipe down tables and clean dining areas between meals

Report incidents in line with school policy

Undertake first aid (with support and training)

In addition, the successful candidate must:

Smile every day, all day and make children feel special!

Laugh at jokes that aren’t funny!

Be a whizz at cleaning!
