What skills and experience we're looking for

The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Midday Assistant at Poplar Street Primary School, Ravenwood Drive, Audenshaw, Manchester, M34 5EF.

Our Trust’s vision is to support young people to develop the aspiration, motivation and to be successful; we have high ambitions for all young people in our academies and all roles at our academy are central to ensuring that we work to support this.

To start March 2025 or as soon as possible thereafterMidday Assistant full time Salary £23,656This is permanent, part-time 6.25 hours per week, Term Time Only with an actual salary £3,515 (TMBC Grade A Point 2)

Midday Assistants assist pupils during the lunch break, working as part of a team, including supervising welfare, behaviour and safety, ensuring a clean and tidy environment, controlling pupil behaviour in line with the Academy’s behaviour policy, dealing with any misbehaviour and liaising with the teaching staff accordingly, responsibility for attending to pupils who may be sick or injured and raising any concerns in terms of welfare and safety to the Headteacher.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows: Applications close at 09:00 on Wednesday 26th March 2025 although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.
