Midday Play Leader job summary
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday 11:30am - 1:30pm, term time only plus INSET days
- 10 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and caring Lunchtime Play Leader to join our team at Highfields Spencer Academy.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to help make lunchtimes a happy, active and inclusive part of the school day. You will support and encourage pupils to take part in purposeful play, games and activities, helping children to build friendships, develop social skills and enjoy being active.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, approachable and able to build positive relationships with children. You will help create a safe, welcoming and engaging playground environment where all pupils feel included and are encouraged to demonstrate our RISE values of Respect, Inspire, Success and Empathy.
If you are enthusiastic about making a difference to children’s experiences at school and can bring energy, creativity and positivity to our lunchtimes, we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be the Principal of a thriving and expanding primary school located between Findern and Mickleover, and 4 miles south west of Derby.
