What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for professional, polite and confident team player who has experience of working with children, ideally in a community setting. The job involves;

  • Being responsible for the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils and of others on the site during the midday break
  • Ensuring reasonable behaviour and safe conduct of pupils by maintaining good order and discipline, dealing as appropriate in line with school behaviour policy
  • Reporting of accidents in the playground in line with the school procedures and guidelines
  • Inspiring a high level of playground interaction and play
  • Responding appropriately to children with differing needs
  • Use of school computer systems
