Midday Supervisor job summary
We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiasticLunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team. This important role helps ensure that all pupils have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime experience.
Main duties will include
- Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values.
- Assisting children during mealtimes where necessary.
- Organising and encouraging safe play activities.
- Supporting pupils' wellbeing and ensuring their safety at all times.
- Reporting any accidents, incidents or concerns in line with school procedures.
The successful candidate will:
- Enjoy working with children and helping them thrive.
- Be patient, approachable and caring.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate reliability and a commitment to safeguarding children.
Previous experience working with children would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
