What skills and experience we're looking for
Stars Trust is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor Assistant to join our dedicated team at Starfish Nursery, based at Stanley Green Infant Academy.

The successful candidate will supervise children over lunchtime in our busy nursery of 2 to 4 year olds, and also provide cover when required for serving hot school meals/lunchtime supervision in school.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Checking meals prior to serving
- Setting up the lunch area/hall and serving meals
- Cleaning of equipment, kitchen and eating areas, as directed
- Carrying out washing up
- Help and support children with their personal, social and emotional development needs
- Where directed: engage children in purposeful play/fitness activities and games
- Monitoring the behaviour of children at all times in conjunction with the nursery and school’s behaviour policy
- Following the school’s first aid procedures
- Always promoting our school values

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

- Good organisational skills and time management
- Willingness to complete a 2-day paediatric first aid course, should you not already hold the qualification
