Midday Supervisor job summary
Higham Ferrers Nursery and Infant School are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our school lunch team. This is a permanent contract.
We are seeking someone who:
- Enjoys working with children
- Has a caring personality and can empathise with children
- Has the ability to be flexible and use their own initiative to deal with different situations
- Can work as part of a team and has good communication skills
- Respects the confidentiality of pupils and staff
- Is happy to undertake training as appropriate for their duties
- Is willing to contribute to the wider aims and activities of the school
You should be able to demonstrate commitment to our positive school ethos and dedication to giving all children great learning experiences. In return we can offer you training and the opportunity to work as a member of a team of committed and supportive staff, parents and governors, with friendly, enthusiastic children.
Hours of work: 1 hour and 30 minutes each day (11:45am - 1:15 pm), Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year. Please note that holidays cannot be taken in term time, but an allowance for holiday entitlement is paid accordingly.
Rate of pay: Grade C scale points 2-3, £24,413 - £24,796 (per annum, pro rata) equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.65 - £12.85.
