Midday Supervisor / Play Lead job summary
Abbey Road is a friendly, caring and inclusive school, with 431 pupils on roll. Our children are enthusiastic, well-behaved learners who really enjoy coming to school. The Role:
Do you enjoy working with children and helping them to thrive? We have a vacancy for a reliable, child-centred Midday Supervisor / Play Lead to join our dedicated lunchtime team, working 1 hour 15 minutes a day, 5 days per week, term time only.
Your role will include:
• Supporting children during lunch and playtime to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion.
• Occasionally working on a 1:1 basis with a child who needs extra support. We are an OPAL school, which means we embrace Outdoor Play and Learning; lunchtimes are active, creative and fun!
Hours: Lunchtimes are currently staggered across year groups, so shifts vary slightly, eg 11.45am to 1.00pm or 11.55am to 1.10pm. Exact times will be confirmed upon appointment. The role is currently for 3 days a week (preferably including a Friday), with the potential to increase to 5 days in the future.
