Midday Supervisor

Rainbow Forge Primary Academy – S12 4LQ

Hours: 7.5 hours per week

Actual Salary: £4,063.12 per annum

Rainbow Forge Primary Academy is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team and help ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage safe, happy play during the lunchtime period
  • Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Support pupils with eating, including promoting healthy choices and being mindful of dietary requirements and allergies
  • Assist with setting up, clearing, wiping down, and moving tables and trays in the dining hall
  • Provide appropriate support to pupils with personal care, mobility, feeding, or 1:1 needs where required
  • Deal calmly and effectively with minor accidents or behavioural incidents, reporting concerns appropriately
  • Maintain good order and discipline, safeguarding the wellbeing of all children
  • Follow school policies, procedures, and instructions relating to lunchtime arrangements

    Rainbow Forge Primary Academy is a larger than average sized primary school with approximately 360 children on role. We offer a nurturing, caring learning environment for children aged 2-11 years.

    Our Nursery provision is divided into three separate rooms based on age and stage of development with each having its own specifically designed outdoor learning area. On leaving nursery children enter the reception class which also has its own specially designed outdoor learning area and dining room.

    We offer a before and after school club for all children aged 2 -11 years in two separate spaces for the younger and older children.

    We are fortunate to have extensive outside areas where children can safely learn and play. Other facilities include a gym, art studio, library equipped with computers, laptops and i-pads, a separate dining hall and an assembly hall with a stage equipped with a sound and lighting rig.

    Creativity is an important part of life at Rainbow and we are proud to have been awarded the Silver Artsmark in recognition of our work.
