Fixed Term for One Year

Band C (FTE Salary- £25,583-£26,824) (Actual Salary- £1,189.45- £1,247.15)

Hourly Rate (£12.85-£13.47)

St. Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a similarly enthusiastic, reliable, punctual and personable individual to drive our school mini bus.

The post is for 2 hours per week. Working hours are 7.15am - 9.15am, term time only.

Responsibilities of the post are:

  • To safely collect and transport pupils to school, swimming classes and other events as directed.

  • To undertake pre-journey checks on the vehicle and report any defects.

  • Help to ensure that the school minibus meets health and safety requirements and be responsible for general repairs and maintenance.

  • General portage and collection activities and ad hoc additional minibus activities to support St Mary’s or other primary school within the Multi Academy Company.

  • A first aid qualification is desirable but appropriate training will be provided to the successful candidate.
