George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are seeking to appoint a reliable and conscientious minibus driver to transport students on educational visits, to and from sporting fixtures and other trips as required.
The role may require occasionally involve some after-school and weekend work.
The successful candidate must be over 21 years of age and will be required to undertake a driving assessment and have PSV or PCV licence category D1 without restriction, as well as having held a clean driving licence for at least 3 years. MIDAS training would be an advantage, but not essential.
Previous experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage, but more important is a flexible approach to work, an ability to relate well to children and young children and young adults and an ability to comply with academy procedures.
