Morning Receptionist job summary

8.30am - 12.30pm

20 hours per week, 38weeks per year

Salary Range: Pay Band: £11,877 - £12,067 FTE (dependent on experience)

Oldbrook First School & Nursery are looking to recruit a caring and approachable receptionist to work in our busy school office. This role will involve undertaking a range of clerical and receptionist duties that support the provision of high-quality education.

The successful candidate will:

  • provide a warm and friendly reception service to all at Oldbrook First School, being responsible for the signing in of visitors to the school, answering telephone calls and face to face enquiries from parents, carers, staff, visitors and the wider community
  • provide administrative support for the school office
  • record pupil attendance and follow up with families
  • manage school uniform stock and orders
  • be responsible for ensuring the main reception area is presentable, clean, and tidy
