What skills and experience we're looking for
- Strong subject and curriculum knowledge across the National Curriculum, with a particular strength in music
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
- Understanding of how children learn and ability to adapt teaching to meet their needs
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Knowledge of safeguarding guidance and requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate and manage behaviour effectively
- Good ICT skills,
particularly for supporting learning and music provision
