What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you an excellent teacher with a passion for music and for empowering children to perform?

We are looking for two part-time (0.5) music teachers to join our dedicated and supportive team in this federation of two local one-form entry schools at the heart of the Finchley community. The successful candidate will:

  • Be dedicated to the learning and growth of all children.
  • Exemplify our staff values of Growth Mindset, High Standards, Integrity, Kindness.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge of music and strong curriculum planning skills.
  • Be passionate about performing arts and able to plan and execute high quality performances.
  • Plan and deliver exciting and purposeful lessons.
  • Be able to enthuse, inspire and engage children.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Commit to develop children’s character within the Manorside Way: Be Kind, Be Brave, Take Pride, Work Hard.
