Music Teacher job summary
The academy is seeking to recruit a teacher of Music to join our team. The post is to teach students aged 11-16 with a broad range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will need to have excellent subject knowledge and be able to deliver the music curriculum to students with a wide range of ability levels. The majority of teaching will be to Key Stage 3 students working between Year 1 and Year 3 expectations. The right candidate will need to be an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher, with high expectations of our children and themselves and have the ability, perseverance and resilience to be an outstanding practitioner.

Abbey Hill Academy, where this post will be situated, provides for approximately 320 young people aged 11 to 19 years who have learning difficulties, as well as other physical, medical and social needs
