Music Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and passionate Music teacher to join our Language and Expression Faculty. We have a small but dedicated music department who are committed to enhancing the provision across the school. We are proud to have an award winning choir and students are encouraged to take part in various performances during the year. Candidates will work with the team to maintain a focus on progress, teaching and learning and raising achievement. The ability to play piano in order to accompany soloists and ensembles would be advantageous. Applications from ECT’s are welcome as are unqualified teachers who are experienced musicians. Working with us: We have a health cash plan with Simply Health, Bike2Work scheme and staff wellbeing programme which includes staff yoga and regular social activities. ECT’s follow an established induction programme while more experienced staff are able to join our leadership training programmes. Many among our teaching staff enrol in our school-based MA programme run in conjunction with St Mary's University. The college is a member of PiXL.
