What skills and experience we're looking for
Required as soon as possible, a part time Music Technician, working hours are 18.25 hours per week, term time only plus 5 inset days. The post is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
Having sustained another "Outstanding" set of results in Summer 2026, and following on from our Ofsted visit in May 2024 where we were judged as a strong ‘Good’ in all areas, Buckler’s Mead Academy is going from strength to strength.
Main Duties:
To prepare classrooms, workshops and wider facilities for use by staff and students, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
To prepare, supply and collect teaching materials, displays, apparatus and equipment, providing technical assistance.
To support teaching staff and students on the safe and economic use of equipment and materials (including electrical equipment).
To work with teaching staff in the creation of new teaching resources and materials.
To ensure that classrooms and all equipment used are kept clean, tidy and in a safe condition.
