What the school offers its staff
At All Cannings we learn what matters. Our creative approach to the curriculum makes learning fun.
We have a responsibility to deliver the highest possible standards across all areas of school life. I believe that our children will reach their personal, social and academic potential during the time they spend with us, laying the foundations for their future. Success will look different for each pupil and therefore needs to be measured and recognised in a variety of ways, both for individuals and for the school. Our personalised learning and creative approach to the curriculum makes learning challenging and fun which encourages pupils to think and do their best. This is driven by our passionate team of teaching and support staff who place great emphasis on ensuring your child’s needs are met, their abilities are understood and their aspirations are encouraged.
We are committed to ensuring all our children thrive during their time at All Cannings and that they leave prepared for their future success at secondary school and beyond.
Children learn best when they are actively involved and enjoying school. Through our curriculum we aim to plan and provide a depth and breadth of exciting learning activities, experiences and opportunities through daily teaching, visitors to school and trips and visits, both locally and further afield. This complements the learning that takes place out of school including at home.
We are an inclusive school with a strong tradition of working with parents because we believe that education is a partnership between home, school and the child. We encourage and welcome parents into school to achieve this in a variety of ways. As a church school, we are part of the Salisbury Diocese. We want all children to know they are valued and understand they have a place in a Christian school community regardless of their own personal faith or beliefs.
