Nursery Lead, St Sidwell’s CofE Primary School

 

Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 weeks term time, 37 hours per week / 5 days per week Monday to Friday

Salary: SC Grade 5 £ Scale point 17 (£31,022 FTE), actual salary £26,802 depending on experience and qualifications. Pay award pending.

We are looking to recruit an Early Years specialist who will be ready to take a lead on our nursery provision alongside our Foundation Stage Unit leader. St Sidwell’s is a vibrant school with a high number of EAL pupils. The candidate would need to understand the support required to enable pupils arriving with no English language to settle well and make language development an absolute priority with continuous provision. We are seeking someone who is passionate about provision. If you have a flair for creating enticing environments closely matched to children’s next steps and interests we would welcome your application.

 

You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar setting working with children 3 – 5 years and hold a Level 6 childcare qualification recognised under the EYFS statutory framework (Early Years Professional Status, Early Years Teacher Status) or be a Qualified Teacher.
