What skills and experience we're looking for

Blenheim Primary School are looking for an early years professional/nursery practitioner to work in our Outstanding school, where we are “Aiming high in the heart of the city”. We want all pupils to achieve their maximum potential by having high expectations and excellent standards. We provide a calm, positive atmosphere where children can feel safe, healthy, happy, confident and motivated. We celebrate and respect our cultural diversity and provide a stimulating and relevant curriculum, recognising achievement and celebrating success in all areas of school life.

A highly qualified (L6) Early Years Professional is required for our outstanding school nursery. We are looking for a caring individual with a firm focus on learning. Our wonderful environment caters for 40 children, mornings and afternoons, some of whom are with us for full days. The team consists of an enthusiastic, experienced teacher, one experienced teaching assistant and two additional one-to-one teaching assistants who support children with special needs. The nursery is overseen by our excellent Early Years Deputy Headteacher.

We are looking for someone who has experience of planning learning experiences for children aged 3-4 years and is willing to go the extra mile to support us on our journey.

The role is temporary in the first instance but may become permanent for the right candidate.
