We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant and friendly Nursery. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring professional to play a key role in supporting our youngest learners, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential.

About the Role

Working under the guidance of the Nursery Lead/Class Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Create a warm, engaging and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

  • Plan, implement and evaluate a stimulating programme of activities tailored to the needs of individual children.

  • Operate as a key worker, observing and recording children’s progress and maintaining strong, positive relationships with families.

  • Promote the ethos and values of Norton Hill Primary School, contributing to a culture of teamwork, professionalism and child-centred practice.

  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all children in your care.

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).

  • Passionate about early childhood development and learning through play.

  • Skilled at building nurturing relationships with children, colleagues and parents.

  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and confident in applying it in daily practice.

  • Committed to professional growth, teamwork and continuous improvement.
