Further details about the role
New Close Nursery is set within New Close Primary School, a happy and caring school where the staff are dedicated to creating a stimulating place for children to thrive and learn. As part of the Acorn Education Trust we provide exciting opportunities to improve local education. We are immensely proud of our nursery, school and the facilities we offer.
Increasing numbers in the nursery and throughout the school mean that we are looking to increase our early years team by recruiting a motivated, energetic and proactive Early Years Professional (on a fixed term basis) who will ensure the delivery of safe, high quality education and care for all of our children.
The successful candidate must have a relevant level 3 qualification and will be expected to demonstrate a warm and caring approach with the children, and experience of working with the early years foundation stage. They should also have the ability to observe and record a child’s progress, and be willing to be involved in discussions around planning exciting and stimulating activities for the children.
This position will suit someone who can work well and support colleagues within a team and who will be a good ambassador for the nursery.
