Our school and Under 5’s have a very strong inclusive ethos and we work hard to develop strategies to respond to the different needs of individual children and families. Staff, children and governors are seeking to appointment a motivated and organised person who can demonstrate a nurturing approach to behaviour management. This job role would be ideal for developing your current skillset whilst working with experienced individual. Professional training will be offered such as first aid, Norfolk Steps, Nurture/Boxall Profile training.

We would like to hear from candidates who can offer the following or who have a willingness to develop in these areas:
- Level 3 or above in areas related to working with children and families.
- Experience of planning and organising nurture activities and groups.
- Behaviour and conflict resolution skills using restorative justice.
- Experience of setting suitable behaviour standards, issuing of rewards and consequences.
- Knowledge of child development, attachment, nurture and well-being.
- Knowledge of child protection issues and safeguarding procedures.
- Knowledge of health and safety and welfare issues within a school and pre-school environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop effective relationships with children, staff and parents.
- An ability to challenge appropriately, professionally and in a timely manner
- Knowledge of the PAThS programme.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Resourceful, creative, good sense of humour.
