Office Administrator - Fixed Term job summary
Reporting to: People & Operations Lead
Location: Pebble Brook School
Grade/Salary: Bucks Pay Range 3 – £28,129 to £30,174 FTE (Actual £23,859 to £25,594 per annum) Contract: Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm – 3:30 on a Friday or 7:30am to 3:30pm - 3pm on a Friday - 39 weeks plus 5.1 weeks annual leave
Job Purpose
We are looking for a reliable and committed individual to join our office team. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the school by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This role will support with the administration and covers key areas such as safeguarding, human resources, recruitment, and general office functions. Reporting directly to and working closely with the People & Operations Lead, the post holder will be responsible for the accurate administration of our information systems such as SIMS for Staff Records, CPOMS and the Single Central Record (SCR). This includes all communication and data-handling practices are securely maintained and filed in strict confidence. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a collaborative approach to working with senior leaders, staff, and external stakeholders. Therefore, you will need to have strong excel skills with experience in data input and reporting. Pebble Brook School is a secondary special school for approximately 170 pupils aged 11-19 with a range of moderate learning difficulties. We are based on an attractive site in the centre of Aylesbury and maintained by Buckinghamshire Local Authority. Our pupils come from all over the county, some have attended primary special schools whilst others have previously been in mainstream schools across the county.
