We are seeking a committed Office Administrator to join our dedicated team at Kingfisher Special School and Halcyon Way School.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the smooth running of our schools, providing high-quality administrative support and being the first point of contact for our families, staff, and visitors.
About the Role
As an Administrator, you will:
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support across the schools.
- Welcome and assist families, visitors, and professionals, ensuring a friendly and professional reception service.
- Support teaching and learning through organisation of events such as parents’ evenings, educational visits and meetings.
- Undertake a variety of office tasks including word processing, record keeping, data entry and financial administration.
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and GDPR responsibilities are upheld in all aspects of your work.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
- Can communicate confidently and provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
- Is organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Works well in a team and builds positive relationships with colleagues, children, families and visitors.
- Demonstrates a proactive and professional approach at all times.
Desirable (but not essential) qualities include:
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a school or similar environment.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, and additional community languages.
