Contract Hours:  14 hours 30 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year – 8am – 4.15pm (Monday & Tuesday) 

Grade: BEX 05

Salary: £8593 - £8,734 (£24,804 - £25,212 FTE)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident, capable and hardworking Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our current busy office team.  

The successful candidate will:

  • have a friendly, welcoming persona
  • be an organised and self-motivated team member, able to prioritise and multi-task
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have strong IT skills 
  • enjoy working with children

We are looking for a special person who smiles even when they’re under pressure, is flexible and adaptable, and has very high standards. The office team at Upland Primary School provide our parents, visitors, pupils and staff with an incredibly friendly, professional and efficient service, and our Office Administrator/Receptionist will be a key member of this team.

The successful candidate should have excellent typing skills, knowledge of relevant computer software and a good level of education, including GCSE English and Maths, are essential. The post requires the ability to be methodical, organised and the ability to prioritise work within a busy environment.
