We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive, creative and dynamic team as an Office Assistant at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School, Claremont Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire. B79 8EN.
The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing eleven Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are located in the northern area of Birmingham, Tamworth and Lichfield.
The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families. As a Catholic Multi Academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy. We therefore hope that all staff will give their full, unreserved and positive support for the aims and ethos of the St John Paul II Multi Academy.
The successful applicants will:
Provide general clerical and administrative support to the school.
Handle incoming calls and inquiries in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate records, files, documentation and data.
Assist in the preparation of reports, letters, and notices.
Help manage office supplies and inventory.
Interact courteously with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.
Track, monitor and feedback on absence trends.
Qualifications and requirements:
Minimum of GCSE/equivalent in English and mathematics.
Prior experience in a school or office environment is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
A friendly, approachable, organised and professional demeanor.
Excellent communication skills.
