St John’s Catholic Primary School, who are part of Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust (DCET), is seeking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to join us.

We’re looking for a highly organised and approachable individual to take on the role of Office Manager, supporting the smooth and efficient running of our school office and wider operations.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff, parents, visitors, and the Trust, providing high-level administrative support to the Headteacher and ensuring the school office runs like clockwork. You’ll lead the admin team, manage pupil and staff data, and oversee key areas including safeguarding and in the absence of the Finance Manager aspects of Finance, HR and premises.

- Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, email, internet, and school systems (SIMS/Arbor)
- Communicates clearly and warmly with staff, parents, and visitors
- Can manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
- Has experience in a busy office environment, ideally with some supervisory or school experience
- Is flexible, reliable, and thrives in a collaborative team
- Has a smart, professional approach and a good sense of humour!
