Position: Part-time - Permanent

Salary: £9,534 - £10,510 (annually actual)

Grade: Band 4 (Points 11-17)

Start Date: 4th September 2025

Basic Duties and Responsibilities

Ideally have an administration qualification (Level 3 or above) and relevant experience

To ensure the school office answer, manage and direct all telephone calls to the school efficiently and effectively.

Dealing with challenging callers and visitors to the school and the handling of external complaints.

Maintain the pupil database – Arbor

To compile information and ensure it is current by making regular checks with the administration staff, parents and staff

To be responsible for the running of the school Census

Be responsible for running, correcting and submitting pupil returns in a timely manner and liaising with the Local Authority with any issues.

Ensure parents provide adequate information about new students and load this information onto the school database (Arbor).

Signing for deliveries / collections.

To phone parents and carers to communicate messages from school

Supervision of other office staff

Perform any task or duty under the reasonable direction of the Head Teacher.
