One to One Teaching Assitant job summary

Post 1:- We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed 1:1 teaching assistant who has a caring, child centred approach and understands what is necessary to enable children to thrive. You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’ or equivalent.

You will be supporting a child with specific learning needs in accessing the mainstream curriculum as well as providing individualised social, emotional and pastoral 1:1 support.

You will be working for Monday - Friday from 08:45 - 12:00 (16.25hrs per week). This is a fixed term post that is reviewed each year, until the child leaves our school. The salary per annum for this post will be approximately £9563.61 - £9712.46

Post 2:- as above but the hours are 13:15 - 15:30 (11.25hrs per week). The salary per annum for the post will be approximately £6620.96 - £6724.01

Please note: Post 1 and post 2 can also be a fulltime post (27.50hrs). Please state on your application which post you are applying for.

This is a fixed term post, for as long as the child remains at our school.
